Target Groups

  • The workshop is targeted at KS4/5 students.
  • Auditioning for Life is suitable for all students.

£150 per workshop

Numbers per workshop

A maximum of 30 students per workshop is required

Venue/Space Requirements

The venue for the workshops is at each school. Tutors will require a large hall or big room where they can work with a large group for a 3 hour period.

Workshop - Auditioning for Life (3 hrs)

Aim

  • Using drama tools to prepare students for interviews, auditions and other life scenarios where they need to present themselves.
  • This workshop also supports the NI curriculum areas of learning at KS4/5

Objectives

  • Practical guidance to understanding personal energy and understanding  the group energies and dynamics of the or interview/ audition room
  • Practical skills on how to make positive choices in the interview/ audition room room  -  how to listen, hear the question, interpret and respond
  • How to prepare the homework for the interview/ audition room Learning Skills to get the job

  • The facts about first impressions and getting a job
  • Preparation skills for the interview room.
  • How to harness and use different types of energy
  • Self-management – How to think positively!
  • Skills in how to be an active citizen in employment and society
  • Understanding of the expectations of employers
