Posted on 19 October 2009The Lyric Theatre is delighted to present one of Molière's greatest works The Miser in the Elmwood Hall as part of the Ulster Bank Belfast Festival at Queen's. The piece is adapted by the hugely successful local writer David Johnston, whose version of The Hypochondriact delighted critics and audiences alike when it was produced by the Lyric in 2007. With Dan Gordon directing, you'll be sure The Miser will be an entertaining night out.

The strong cast also includes Stephen Darcy and Matthew McElhinney.

Posted on 16 February 2009The Boat Factory is a new play by Dan Gordon set in Belfast's shipyard in the late 1950s. Written for Key Stage 2 pupils as part of the Lyric Theatre's off-site education programme, it is co-funded by the Arts Council of Northern Ireland and the Ulster Scots Agency. Six primary schools in the greater Belfast area are currently involved including Black Mountain, Castle Gardens, Euston Street, Glengormley Integrated, Silverstream and Cregagh Primary School.
